[below] GICLÉE PRINT OF YOUR STITCHED PANEL
This digital artwork is virtually indistinguishable from your stitching, as you can see from the detail on the right. The print size is about 13” wide (the same as your stitched panel) and fits beautifully into an Ikea “Ribba” frame, as shown on the left.
We have contracted with an artisan to produce a custom print for you using archival paper and inks. The image is generated from high resolution scans of your stitching meticulously composed.

|Since the project launch in June 2013 the sale of stitching kits has been our only source of operating revenue . . . at a very modest margin of $2/kit over the wholesale cost of materials. Profit from the sale of merchandise is earmarked for educational and archival projects such as catalogue, digital book, curriculum materials, documentary film. |
This still leaves a huge shortfall in the cost of mounting and circulating the physical exhibition of Torah Stitch By Stitch.
We are presently seeking funding from public and private sources. We greatly appreciate your personal generosity as well as any introductions you can provide to foundations that support cultural, artistic and ecumenical projects.
