Zimchiel is a book of legends about plants in Israel written by Baruch Chizik and first published in 1930. The illustrations are breathtaking, botanically correct embroideries by his daughter Naomi Chizik-Ayalon.
All 4 sections were adopted by stitchers. Linda Sue’s was the first one returned, and she also sent a sequence of 69 images documenting her process.
